Default Magenta Cast

Hi - I processed this photo in Photoshop to give a glow but as a result got this magenta cast around the edges of the cheeks. Appreciate some help on how to neutralize this
thanks

used a photoshop plugin from nik software - Color Efex Pro and used the "Glow" preset. and then used curves to correct the white balance slightly

I am sorry but the PP work is not flattering at all. Post the original.

Agreed. Seeing the original would help, perhaps we could assist you in figuring out how to achieve a slight glow without it being so overdone.

You could use a Gaussian blur overlay, which is a Gaussian blur applied to a copy of your image in a layer above its blending mode set to overlay for a nicer effect crush the histogram using levels and push the sliders up to the ends of the histogram before applying the blur. Using the opacity slider can fine tune the effect it usually gives a dreamy kinda glow effect and pops the colours a bit

if your original was not saved, try using the sponge tool set to desaturate mode, flow at 40%, brush size, 30px set at the softest. brush away the magenta affected areas. repeat brushing till satisfied. then reduce the brush size and set to 100% flow and brush also the whites of the eyes which is very cyan.

Actually your original as far as the color is much better than the PP one. A quick edit, I adjusted the vibrancy as well as created a blur layer for that soft look you were after (I did not soften the eyes or the mouths).
