Default Reflections in the glasses.

So I'm doing this family shoot and realize that there is a terrible light reflection coming off of the fathers glasses. Once I recognized this as a problem, I was constantly having him tilt his head (in other shots) to avoid this. But since I have this one here, I was wondering if anyone has a good way to remove reflections? Or even a good way to avoid it in the first place? Thanks!

if you cannot reshoot, try the clone tool in photoshop. use the smallest (i pixel) size and 20% opacity and select carefully the source points which is the are nearest the eyes or any area that is similar in color.. being good in drawing is a great help. brush the white areas in the glass till the white is gone and should look natural. do this carefully.
to avoid during shooting, change the angle of the face either to the side or tilt down a little to avoid glare.

From what I remember, it has to do with the type of glass used in the glasses. I remember getting asked by the optician if I wanted to get a specific glass type so that photos of me don't come out like this.

could be wrong though.

apart from that, I guess it's just a matter of angles.

Tilting the head is the best fix. Glasses are reflective and the light is going to bounce toward the lens of your camera if his head is at the wrong angle. You could try a polarizing filter. They should be able to knock out most of the reflection as well.

Tilt specs downward slightly by raising the bows at the back
