Hi.
How do i know how bright my pictures should be ? I can change brightness in Photoshop for example. They look good on my screen but when i go to a store to print them they all look too dark ![]() is there a standard rule on getting right brightness ? |

|
You need to get your screen calibrated to the output of the printer. There are several ways of doing this. Your best bet is to go ask whoever is working where you get your prints done what kind of printer they use, and see if there is a "PRINTER CALIBRATION DRIVER" or something similar online.

Yes, though you may have to dig for it. There are several tutorials online. Keep in mind, though, that will only help you calibrate photoshop to the printer: you'd need to get another item to calibrate your monitor too.

Ok - here's probably a stupid question but I got to ask ... I used Spyder3 Pro to calibrate my HP LCD monitor - I have an Epson R2880 photo printer and edit in Photoshop ... my first printout came out much darker and warmer than what the monitor shows ... is my printer automatically calibrated to photoshop and if not, how do I do that?
