Default CS2 acting weird - cannot open files from Bridge

I recently installed CS4 to try for 30 days. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the upgrade (from CS2) like I thought I could. So, I uninstalled CS4 after two weeks. Now Bridge in CS2 is acting weird.

I am able to view my images just fine (including NEF images) in Bridge. But when I click on an image, it won't open it in CS2. If I click on a .jpg image, it opens it up in Paint. If I click on a NEF image, it doesn't do anything.

Something must've happened during the uninstall for CS4. I have never had this problem with CS2 before. Actually, after I uninstalled CS4 and opened up CS2, I was not able to even view my NEF files in Bridge -- just got generic thumbnails. Then I installed the latest DNG/Camera Raw plug-in (version 3.7) and rebooted my computer. And that fixed the problem with viewing NEF files in Bridge.

But to not be able to open an image into CS2 (from Bridge) is a new problem. Any ideas??? And I couldn't find anything about it in a google search.

I appreciate any help with this!

Default

Okay, y'all can disregard my post. I figured it out! Yay!

In the Preferences menu, I had to set the file type associations to CS2, and for the NEF files, I had to enable the "Double-click edits Camera Raw settings in Bridge" .
