Default Best Denoise Plugin?

Hi,

I've been to a fair today and have been forced to take pictures at a ridicilous high ISO (2500 on a D90).

So now I'm looking into denoise plugin for PS but they are all at $70 so I wanted to know first which one is generally preferable? I'm not a PP wiz yet so I'm afraid I can't make a good decision yet.

Currently I've got DenoiseNinja and Noiseware in my focus...

Thanks in advance!

Im a GIMP user and up to now I have found Wavelet Decompose, and the GreyCStoration plugins to be great, and both are free which I like the most

As for PS alot say noise ninja but like you say they cost money, if you have access to a copy of GIMP or your friends have it installed it may be worth a try.

I use (at least a little) Noise Ninja on almost all my shots. I've never used any other so I can't comment in that regard but I've never seen a need to look for anything else since installing it.

I use the Noiseware Community Edition Standalone free edition when dealing with noise. I'm happy with the results I get with it.

They do make a Photoshop plugin version that I understand many people use but I haven't felt the need to buy it yet since the standalone does what I need it to.

I use a PS plugin from Imagenomics called Noiseware. It's not free but it does a great job and has tremendous flexibility. They also have some other great programs you may want to look at when you visit their site.

Hi,

okay it seems there is no better, so I went for the Ninja because it also runs on Linux.

Thanks for the feedback!
