Default purchasing Adobe CS4 extended ?
Is there any place or site to purchase this program that is reputable without paying a fortune besides Adobe?

B&H Photo is a great place to deal with. I think they want 580 for CS4.

Not really, take a look at the Amazon price - you might find a couple of places a bit cheaper but not by much.

If you (or someone in your family) is a student you can can student edition which is excactly the same application but at a much cheaper price. It doesn't come with a licence key as you have to send Adobe (fax, email) a copy of your student ID to get one.

Unless there are some features in PS4 you can't live without, Elements 8.0 is worth looking at and the price is not as steep. You should be able to find it for less than $100.00 US.

If you are a higher education student or if you have a child in K-12, you can purchase from academicsuperstore.com. Higher education students have a bigger discount than K-12. For example, I purchased Photoshop CS4 Extended and Photoshop Lightroom 2 Bundle for $395.99. If I had a college student, it would have been even less. That same bundle costs $920.98 on Amazon.

I did find a site that sells it at a reasonable price ($145) but wondering if its a ligit site... I see no BBB or any signs of Verisigns, etc... All Items Free Shipping!!
Anyone wanna look to see what they think? I have Adobe elements 7.0 and dont see that they have that much to offer... I do use Paintshop Pro 2x Ultimante.. I downloaded the trail version of Adobe CS4 extended and hoping to expand my editing skills... PSP doenst have some of the features I have found in Adobe...

I dont have any children in school and i am not a student so that is out....

I bought mine at discount mountain. it was right at $400 last year...now it looks like a tad bit more...$475...

Wow that site looks dodgy as hell... those prices seem too good to be true..


Just looked up the website owners and the registrars XIN NET TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION
 have a whole bunch of web sites selling all sorts mainly electronic good and software and they HAve ALL BEEN BLACKLISTED!!

You may recall from Wall of shame: 10 worst registrars that Xin Net was at the top of KnujOn's "worst registrar" list.

The gist of the latest KnujOn memo to ICANN is that Xin Net has over the last year

* hosted over 18,000 illicit domains, advertised in over 1.7 million unsolicited emails, and
* corrected exactly none of the 11,000 sites reported to ICANN by KnujOn

Even better, many of the illicit sites are fake pharmacies, and they are still active. And better than that, these sites were all registered by a handful of customers.

And, to add insult to injury, Xin Net is still registering 100 new illicit sites a day.
