Default Borederless printing help

First i want to apologize if this was already covered or if i am posting in the wrong place. I usually print with a cannon photo printer but it does not work and i have a brother mfc that clams to print good borderless photos but when i print them there is always 1 or 2 sides with white paper showing. I tried many different setting but still have the same problem any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

check the size of the image that you're printing. if you're trying to print a 5x7 on a 4x6 then you'll have white sides.

What kind of computer are you using and what program are you printing from? For example, my Canon does borderless printing also, but for some reason when I try to do that on my Mac, unless I'm printing through Canon's photo software it still gives me lines around it, even when set to borderless.
