Elements or Capture NX2

Hello,
I'm new to digital photography (actually been away from all photography for years) but want to try using raw with some minor PP work. Which would be better for .NEF files? Elements is slightly cheaper but not enough to make a big difference if the NX would be better.

I use Capture NX2 & love it. Can't imagine not having it for 98% of my workflow. Only when I absolutely need to clone something out do I ever use anything else. I found it to be the simplest of software to use. You can download a copy & give it a test run.

Thanks for the reply. Everything I've read about the Capture NX sounded good but thought I'd ask before I downloaded the trial software. Also thanks for the computer preparation reference.
