Default Help with old photo ~Suggestions Please!

My mom seems to think that I am a Photoshop Pro (which I'm far from) and would like this picture restored. Could anyone help me? I have CS2 and Elements 7.

I would really appreciate any ideas or suggestions!

Thank you for looking!

My great, great (maybe one more great..lol) Aunt

Restored to what?

You can't really do much if you don't start with a good image. This should be scanned in much higher quality first -- then you don't have to waste time "restoring" a bad scan.

I ran your image through some special tools I have for dealing with grain and got the following results:

With a bit more effort you could have a really nice finished product. If you like you can send me the PSD files and I'll help all I can.
