I calibrated my screen last night, and all seems to be great, except I noticed that the bottom 1/3 of the screen is noticeably lighter than the top 2/3. It looks like the light for the screen is shining up from the bottom of the screen, kind of like if you shine a flashlight under your chin in the dark, if that makes sense. If I change the angle I view the screen, of course things change, but the bottom is always lighter. I'm worried what impact this will have on my lappy > print results. I just finished setting up the laptop, so I haven't had any prints done yet.
I'm wondering if it's a common thing with LED screens. I've never had one before, only LCD. I've been thinking about if it would be worth the trouble of wiping the laptop and exchanging it (and having to reinstall everything omg!). Except 99% of the laptops I looked at have LEDs, it seems that they're all converting to them because they're more energy efficient. Do any of you have any experience or knowledge about this? I'm very worried about it. |
