Nothing wrong with the angle, a different perspective can make it interesting, but the pic is under exposed as the face looks dark. check the skin color tones

I like the angle. A more uniform background (such as all grass) would help draw attention to that face.

any more exposure on the shirt, and it would be way blown out. I like it the way it is. it does look like it could use a little color correction though.

I don't mind the angle but the background detracts from the overall image. The colouring looks ok to me as I have a son with the exact same blond hair, blue eyes, pale freckly face and your shot looks like his natural colouring.
