#2 of the boy is just about perfect in my mind! Excellent.
The pictures of the baby seem too dark on my monitor. it looks under exposed. I would guess the histogram is all squished up towards the left side. For a black and white photo to work for me, it needs a full range of tones from, well, black to white. Try bumping up the exposure or stretching the histogram in an image editing program. On the last picture, it looks like the girl's face is under exposed but her light hair is blown out. I would try to get more light on her face. If you are only using the pop up flash on your camera, you are stuck. If you have a bounce flash, you could try pointing it a white or light colored object in the direction that she is looking. Also maybe have her look into the lens. |
