Hello everyone, recently a friend came up to me and asked if I would take their presidential campaign pictures for a college that we both attend. I told him that I was very much an amateur but would still be more than willing to help. I have never taken pictures of people that have asked me to for a specific purpose and I am looking for any advice that you guys would graciously give. If it helps at all, his mission statements are about "building from the ground up" and having clearer communication between the student government and the student body. Again any suggestions would be appreciated. I understand some of the basics of portrait photography and composition however. Also, I lack any special lighting devices, and yes I do know these are extremely important but I lack the funds to have anything that would help in this situation other than my on camera flash.
Thanks much and Gods grace be with you all! |

Yeah, I was actually considering that in my mind, whether that would be a good investment or not and I might do that. Also does anyone have anyone have any flickr groups or other web sites that would have examples of campaign photography.
