Hoping to get some experienced advise. I'm searching for a Home Studio package. I've spotted a "VU-PRO COMPLETE HOME PACKAGE #4.

Doesnt seem bad at all for the price but keep in mind. Its continuous lighting, not a strobe (aka flash).

I personally think i will start off with soem Alien Bee's

I made an adjustable Backdrop stand yesterday for about 30 bucks.

I figured going with a continous lighting set up would be a little easier since I'm just getting started.Is my assumption wrong?

My opinion, but yea i agree for the price its great to start learning. But strobes will take you so much further

Continuous lighting:

Pro
*Cheap

Con
*Not very powerful
So you usually have to get the light closer to your subject
*Hot

*More Powerful
*Adjustably
*Could be used with more accessories, since heat isnt that big of an issue
