Default Thank God for personal DVD Players!

Having had to endure Happy Feet, Jungle Book and Jungle Book2 we decided to plug my granddaughter into a personal DVD for Alice in Wonderland.

I liked it the first time I saw it but after the 10th time it gets a bit wearing!

Haha, indeed. My kids hide behind the chair in the corner and watch theirs. I can probably recite Cars, Chicken Little, Bambi, Nemo, and others word for word, LOL.

Before I was a parent, my idealistic self claimed that I would never be one of those parents who use the TV as a babysitter.

But now that I have a daughter, it's such a blessing to have these litle gizmos. Not only do I have a portable DVD player for my daughter, I also have a MP4 player (Creative Zen Vision W) that has a bunch of kids stuff on it for times when the DVD player isn't handy to carry around or when the battery has died on the DVD player.

On a recent 8 hour road trip (each way), my daughter watched Finding Nemo for 8 hours straight each way without crying (she's currently 2 years old). What a blessing!!!
