Looking for self-portrait ideas.

Hey there, I have been trying to find a good idea for an original self-portrait but so far I have been unable to find anything I could use.

That is why I am turning to you for advices and ideas.

Please, help me!

It's a self portrait.

Check out the self portrait pools on Flickr. They have been a great source of ideas for me. Do something that has elements of something you feel strongly about. It can have a little more impact than just sitting there in a posed position.

We also did a self portrait assignment this year. Check out the weekly assignment thread, you should be able to find it. There should be a lot of ideas for you there.

My 12-year-old neice and I went out for a for-fun shoot and she took some pretty good pictures of me. I was impressed! I'm going to use one of them on my website bio page. Some of the most fun "self" portraits I've seen have been taken by little kids - the younger the kid the better! ;-)
