This looks like a job for Super Photographers!!!
So a friend of mine contacted me regarding a maternity shoot and a possible newborn shoot for her. She's due in January and wants pictures around Thanksgiving (she'll be 30 weeks) The problem is that last I talked to her, she hadn't gained a pound (has actually lost FOUR - be jealous all those moms out there). Unfortunately, she's a large woman, has been for as long as I've known her. Her message to me said "hopefully by then, I'll have a pregnant belly without a one-too-many-cheeseburger belly". So, how do I take shots where she *looks* pregnant but doesn't capitalize on how big she is? Links to pose examples would be GREATLY appreciated if there's any floating around out there... I was leaning towards her husband's arms around her with his hands making a heart over her tummy.... wrapping her waist in pink ribbon (it's a girl!).... cradling her arms like she's holding a baby but spelling out "Hannah" instead with letter blocks... stuff like that. Thanks guys in advance, my brain is fried when it comes to this kind of thing! ~Lauren

Two things that I would focus on is drawing attention to the belly and drawing attention away from any rolls(especially the kidney area) one thing I've done is use a sheet like wrap around the chest and running down the near side trying to show her curves. good luck shooting
