Default Posing Guides

Anyone know of some good ones that they can use for newborns, children, couples, and seniors?

if you're using an iphone, there is a neat little app which has hundreds of poses. This way you can show the client what you want/like and they can have a look-see at what they like/want.

I forgot about that. There is one called "iPose U" that is pretty good. Another good way to find different poses is to look through flickr groups for each age group you are going to photo, pull out some Creative Commons ones you like, and keep them in a folder to reference.

Just popped this over to the Photographing People Technique area since it's a question that can be useful for anyone (whether or not they're earning money).

Have you had a look at the guide posted at the top of this section? Examples of Poses

nathan, are you actually using the iphone app? If so, which app are you using? I've seen a couple and I've been really hesitant to buy one because they're often so expensive and the screen shots haven't quite inspired me to fork over the money.

no Im not using it - dont have an iphone (too $$ lol)

I'll try find the name of the one I read about, but it was only like $3 (US?), have 5 volumes or so, and a total of about 600 poses from memory. Probably worth it even if you only use it a few times.

All the ones I've seen have been closer to $10 USD (and one was selling 3 volumes at $10 USD each!) Hence the curiosity. For anyone interested, the one I'd looked at was called Model Pose (at the time of this posting it is $6 USD).
