Default How can I make this pic sharper

Is there anyway to unblur a photo? I took this photo at a friends house the other day and unfortunately they came out blurred. Can anyone help?

These photos aren't the best quality because I was trying to shoot full manual.

Thanks in advance.

No, once a photo is blurry. It's blurry. The best way to fix it is to shoot your photos crisp and clear to start with.
Every once in a blue moon if they are not too too blurry, you can try to sharpen them up in your processing. Unsharp mask is a tool I use on every one of mine. Play with the radius and the amount until you get something you like

I would hit *delete* its impossible to fix.
BTW they arent only "blurry" its actually mostly out of focus, the focus has fallen on the guy in the background.

as Windrider said, "unsharp Mask" is a good tool for sharpenting things.. but not when they are like this i'm sorry

A blurred photo can sometimes look OK as a very small picture. You lose the detail, but it's blurred, so you already lost it.

I just took a bunch of photos in low light, and they are all a bit blurred. But as the background on my phone, the great pic of my wife looks good. On the screen of my computer, not so much.

Not reall ymuch can be done to save these.

The first one is out of focus and that is the cause of the blur. On the second one it appears to be motion blur from having to use a slow shutter speed.

Try to layer sharpening using the luminance channel in lab mode. you might be able to save the second shot. The first one is really iffy.

Well... you could try FocusMagic, but it can only salvage so much.
