Essential Equipment

Two camera bodies that share the lenses
Two flashes (strobes) plus cables, etc.,
18mm-55mm zoom-for groups-at 18-24mm settings
50mm standard lens F1.8 -for low-light situations
Not essential, but handy for candids and from back of church images- 70mm-300mm zoom lens
large capacity digital storage cards
At least triple batteries as you think you will need
Two white reflectors
Diffusion (soft-focus) filter
85c warming filter for grey days (Shade white balance)
Tripod for formal photos
Lens hoods to control flare
Murphy, being the Patron Saint of Wedding Photographers, will no doubt ensure that if anything can go wrong-it will, and usually at the most inopportune moment.

thats your call.. it depends on what you want to achieve and how you want to work.

(curiosity)
how are you going to be triggering the flash if you do take it with?

i want the light to be pretty soft and natural, so im guessing reflectors!?
as for flash trigger, there are several ways to do this (as im sure you well know!), id probably go with the wireless.

bring the flash, wireless triggers and umbrella as well as the reflectors.

you could always use the flash to light up the background a bit them outside but want the inside of a building lit up slightly so it's not one big black hole.

Dragging the shutter will do this:

set camera to shutter priority or manual mode, flash on Manual, and adjust speed to between 1/30 and 1/8 second-these are normal settings for fairly dark conditions, because of the actual flash speed, blur won’t be a problem.
