Poses for foursomes of golfers?

I was asked to help take pictures at a charity golf tournament. The organizer told me he was going to have the other two shooters taking candid photos and that he wanted me to take pictures of each foursome at the 18th green. I've never been to this course so I am hoping there will be a tree near the green. But, my real question is about poses. I've tried searching here, flickr and google for samples and poses but most of them are of 4 golfers in a row (straight across). Does anyone have any suggestions for poses?

humm, nothing wrong with sticking with the classic 4 across with a slight inward semi-circle...each holding their drivers in front so all 4 driver heads meet near the center of the frame. Watch for deep shadows under hats & visors and reflections from sunglasses. If it's not too hot consider an additional shot of the same pose where everybody has their hats and glasses off.

Thanks zona, I will take along a reflector and some flashes in case I need them for those shadows. Maybe that is why I couldn't find any other poses out there ... so far there is just the one. At least it is a classic

theres a youtube video by Chaise Jarvis where he does a shoot of four or five golfers.. DAMN !!! i love his style.

just type on Chaise Jarvis and you'll find it no problem.. theres several poses shown in there.

Bright sunlight and multicolor bright clothing will be your enemy.
Try find permanent shade if possible
Try set up near a sponsors banner
Filler flash can cause other issues, so make sure you have a polarized lens!

a neat trick is to be able to have the prints done by the time the golfers have finished.
Printed, framed with the charity logo printed on the shot!

One thing I would be aware of is after 18 holes of golf, there will be some serious hat-head going on.

If the foursome is compose of two womens and two mens, you can put the womens in front with a knee down and the mens stand up in the back... I do not have any example to show you but I think the result should be good...
