Default That Belly Looks Good on You . . . Maternity Photos

I've been taking pictures of my pregnant wife almost since day 1, and I keep meaning to get more of them posted to flickr and do a whole "what I've learned" thread. It keeps not happening, so I thought I would just share a couple of my recent favorites:

29 Weeks:

33 Weeks:

Cheers!

I really like that first one. Nice composition and good choice of color. And congradulations by the way.

Thanks, Guys!

Dave -- She says "hello" too . . . I think she misses my posts just a tiny little bit. You know, every gal wants to be a model deep down.

Thanks, Peeper! And I think I understand what you mean -- you know you can always be your own model, right???

I love the yellow one. I would like to see more of her/your pics-I love maternity shots.
Do you have the yellow one in full hight? That would make an impact, too.
How did you get that yellow background?

Thanks so much! The setup is a white sheet with a yellow/orange gelled strobe shooting through the sheet (actually it shoots against a large reflector behind the sheet to diffuse it more). She is standing on carpet, which ends up looking odd if I included her feet. Otherwise, I agree with you that it would be nice to include them.

If I had more of a proper studio, I would love to do the same shot with her standing on a dark, glossy, reflective surface that would pick up the yellow and continue it on the ground.

I hope to be uploading some more of these in the next few weeks to flickr.
