im using a canon xs with a 28-135 lens...i have taken some good photos but is there a good setting for taking the photos?? spifically portraits
i sometimes get blur because they dont sit still so well (spifically the neighbors 1yr old) the big thing i do now is take allot of photos so i can delete what doset come out but i want allot of looks and allot of photos to choose from..i also change allot of settings to get different looks |

Either shoot in manual, or in shutter priority mode, and try to keep your shutter speed at 1/250 or higher. If I have lots of light and the kids are running around and whatnot, I stay at 1/500 or higher.
