I always think these kids are the most beautiful children. Their smiles and laughs are always so genuine and bright.

I'll post one of the ones that I got from today - he was so cute but I felt out of my element.

Portraits? I can't really help you there, but if it's journalistic stuff I have some experience.

Ah man! I recently saw a gallery of the most beautiful portraits I have ever seen of children, and they all had special needs. For the life of me, I can't remember where! I will try to remember.

The photographer was just wonderful. But what struck me at the time was that he/she really didn't do anything special regarding their disabilities. Just wonderful pictures. Their disabilities were for the most part evident, but all you saw was emotion and love.

I would LOVE it if you could remember - but no pressure! I am editing the photos now...

I don't have any personal experience/advice, but you might find some inspiration at the Littlest Heroes Project

Yes -- the gallery I saw was somehow related to this site -- maybe a feature in a magazine or something. Glad someone else knew about it!
