Default Colors

So when you take pictures of people how do you know when to like put the picture in black and white or sepia? Like this one is that right?

i think it depends on what you are going for with the picture... if the tonal balance is something you think helps really make the shot, then in my opinion black and white is a better choice than color. i've never really been a fan of sepia, but i think that works the same way as b&w essentially, because you get more of a focus on the tones rather than individual colors.

and you should show us the original with color, unless you just took it as a sepia picture, because without it we can't really compare and say its "right" one way or the other
