alright. if u have any suggestion about this photo. my ears are open to them.
no suggestion or w/e is to harsh lol. but im not worried about critiques or anything on the photo. thats why i put it in here. but i do wanna no what you guys/girls think of the photo. will it work as a school picture? also do the trees in the background, catch your eye, more than the girl? well i guess thats all i got to say. lol but like the title says this pic was taken at night. pretty much right before the sun actually disappeared behind the horizon. so enough talk. here it is. http://digital-photography-school.co...ictureid=11786 Camera - KODAK DX7590 f-stop - f/3.2 exposure time - 1/80 sec iso speed - iso-80 focal length - 11mm aperture - 3.4 flash - yes |

Although I am not a pro by all means and I too am trying and learning with flash, I think that the lighting is a bit harsh.

This isnt a very flattering picture, just my opinion. And if by school photo you mean senior portrait I wouldnt reccommend it because when the books are printed the photos tend to be so small and you have alot of bg and her legs in the shot, Id use a tighter crop or just another photo in general for a senior portrait. Also as its been said the lighting is very harsh and that will be even more obvious printed in a yearbook than it is on the computer. Id try shooting when the sun hasnt set next time or as said use a flash with a diffuser on it prefferably or with a lower setting so it doesnt wash her out so much.... just my opinions pls dont take offense
Hope you dont mind i tweaked it a bit, and this is what I came up with. I dont think its neccessarily an improvement, just a different look.
