So I have a girlfriend who's always had the dream of becoming a model. There are definitely other girls out there that share this dream (boys to). I wanted to comb the knowledge of the DPSers out there to get tips on shooting models without the flashes, umbrellas, backgrounds and locations that the pros utilize. It would be great if people could post their shots of basically shooting models on a budget. Thanks for the help!

Get outside, and find a cool spot. That's your first task. Somewhere interesting, accessible but private. Is there a waterfront in your town? How about a childrens park?
Shoot at dusk/dawn. If youre outside, these lighting situations are gonna give you the best looks. Have fun. A happy model is a cooperative and beautiful model. Ive had times where my models were uncomfortable, frustrated, confused, etc. Just keep things light and fun and you'll get great shots. Even if youre not looking for smiles and laughing, keeping your model satisfied is gonna be #1
