Default Clarification on shots

I took these shots during a family function here in Singaproe. I live in Singaproe. I spoke to Mr David abt it and his words has been very helpful. However my customer said the photos are not sharp. As per advice by Mr Dave I used AV f5.6 ISO1600 indoor and ISO400 outdoor.
What is the problem with these photos why did the owner said the photo is not sharp. I zoom the photos and C no grains. Anyone pls advice me. Life is a lear ning process I learn many of the tips from members here including Mr Dave. I am very grateful to Mr David Peterson

Pls note that some of the photos attached has been reduced in size to fit into this forum. you can resize to view and comment.

He's not talking about grain, he's talking about soft focus. There is no real decent focus in the four shots you have listed, grain or no grain. One reason: ISO1600. Unless youre using a Nikon D300-700-D#, shoot at the lowest ISO possible, and NOT1600. Even the outdoor shot at ISO400 is a bit soft...

Wink Clarification on shots

Are U saying that I should use a lower ISO say 800. I am not using Nikon. I am using CANON EOS400D I use manual most of the time. as for these shots I used AV f5.6, ISO1600. I feel that the shutter speed is low. If I use in M with 1/125, f4, ISO800 will it be sharp and not very soft focus. I was told that my photo is not sharp.

so what is your comments.

You probably got some motion blur at that shutter speed. Some people don't have a steady hand., you might want to use a tripod next time.

Also your shots have way too much wasted space in them. You need to crop a bit tighter.
