I think you have beautiful shots! Photography is great because we can keep aiming higher and its a never ending learning curve. But I think your photos are great and you shouldn't be doing them for free!!!

You have amazing photographs! What kind of camera do you have? (idle curiousity) I definitely think you should be charging people!!

Hi LesleyD! Welcome to DPS!! I am a P.I.T. (photographer in training) and have very little experience behind the camera. But, I do know what looks good and your photos are wonderful. It was a great idea for you to offer your talents for free to friends and family while you learned and grew in confidence. It sounds like you've reached a level of confidence that matches your skills. I would have no problem paying you for my family portrait!

How exciting for you!! Keep us posted on your progress!!

I think your pictures are beautiful.
Also love your philosophy - better photographer, even better person!

I think those wedding photos were beautifull, I especially like the shots of the build up to the event, the paigeboy getting his button hole pinned on and the dress corset being tied especially jumped out at me, as well as the couple by the trees and the bride with the little girl is exceptional.

I think you are more than ready to start charging for jobs
