This looks like an 8x10 crop though.

Thanks for your feedback. I do wish I would have captured her whole right hand. But I did learn from this photo shoot.

Just got off work so I'm a little out of it lol.
That does make a lot of sense!

Thanks so much for commenting....

May i ask what settings you used for this? (aperture, shutter, etc) good job
Thanks so much for your feedback!

I used aperture priority and used my 50-200 mm lens at 130mm. ISO at 100 and shutter speed at 1/640 speed. Hope that helps.

The object is not to get everything in but to have a composition that draws you to the subject and this has been achieved well. Spend some time looking at images in fashion and womens mags and notice the number of images with cut limbs, cropped heads, etc.

And where were all these gorgeous young ladies when I left school.
Thank you so much for your comment. I guess I am going to have to look in some fashion mags because I didn't know that. LOL

eta. Your grandneice has beautiful eyelashes.
I ended up having this printed and they did crop the head more than I like, but it still came out nice.

BTW, her eyelashes are fake ones. LOL But she's the type that doesn't wear a lot of makeup and to me really doesn't need to. But she put them on for this photo shoot along with some lip gloss. Must be nice to be young....

Yes, I set it at 3.2. Sorry I forgot to put that in.

There are other shots of her on my flickr page and if you click the more properties you'll see the exif data.
