Default Haley

Model was 3 hours late. I was ready to leave after doing 6 photos. Being patient paid off.

I'm quite happy with the turn out. I did a few pictures of this same pose at different DOF settings. Haley has amazing eyes and the shallow DOF help makes her face the main focal point.

AB800 in soft box camera right.

Camera: Canon EOS 5D
Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 53 mm
ISO Speed: 50
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

great shot as always.

Dude...you have way more patience than I do. I would've left after the first hour. Did she call to tell you that she was running late at least?

She did call which was cool but I figure the reason she was late was due to hair and makeup. How ever when she shown up she didn't even have her hair done yet.

I really love the color of her skin in this photo. Some of your models look rather pail, I don't know if it's them or what, but she has a nice golden tone. I also love the composition, Very beautiful!

Nope its them. We only see 3 months of summer so if you don't get a tan in that time frame your either white or your spending big $$$ to go tanning. The city I live in was claimed coldest place on earth for the past month on the news yesterday. 4 months of the year its about -40 to -50 then till about April its around -15 to -30. All our tans disappear.

Haley moved west where there summers are much better and since then shes always been pretty tanned.

Sounds like Winnipeg.

I love the DoF. Her eyes really do sparkle. how do you get them to be so razor sharp?
