Okay, I feel obligated to comment on the last shot since no one dared! Shorts with dark socks & loafers!!!! Is that the fashion police behind him?

Sorry, I just couldn't let this one go. It's not my nature to let something like this just slide by.

yep again i love teh fire engine truck and teh kiddies.. the first one would look fantastic in B&W with strong contrast..


umm also Dave loafers are better than sock and thongs or sandals!!!

No doubt -- he probably went with the loafers to match the more formal tone set by the blazer and tie.

I agree with the others, the first two pictures are very special indeed! The picture of the war veteran was awe-inspiring. I wish so much that his family could see that picture...they would be especially proud. Good job of capturing the essence of what a parade is all about.
