Default b&w profile

I captured this b&w with my Canon Rebel xti. I did a little pp - cropped, and added some highlights. I think the composition could be better, but when working with little ones, you sometimes gotta take what you get! I would just like to know what you think of it!

It's a well considered shot - I'm not sure if it was your intention to get that 'soft' look on the eyes and upper head though? They eye isn't quite in focus - the focus is crystal clear on the tip of the nose and nostril but soft on the eye. If that was your intention then it's a good shot thoughtfully produced.

I know, I would have much rather had the sharp focus on the eyes. The camera has a setting for focal points and I need to learn how to use that feature.

I seem to like it but what is bothering me is the abscence of the ear. You cut off the picture where my eye is searching for the ear, its right around the point where you'd expect to see the ear. Kinda seems a little odd to see just the head-shot in the laying down position, maybe a little bit of the chest would have helped.
