Default Share Your Jowling Photos

After today's Jowling post on the blog I thought it might be fun to share your Jowling (Snap n Flap) shots here. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I tried jowling today... and first, it's hard to get a good shot. Out of 150 taken I have maybe 2 that look just ok. Maybe I'll bring myself to share them...

are you using motor drive? I know I'd be using my camera's high-speed burst to try to capture just the right moment.

Haven't tried motor-drive. I was using an IR remote and just clicking as fast as a could. I don't even know if auto-drive works with a remote.... worth a shot i 'spose.

Cool Tough to do... sober

So, I'm a little behind in the articles, but that jowling looked too fun to pass up - and wow, I'm not having much luck doing the self portrait with a P&S at 8 in the morning at work. (I just look like a slack-jawed yocal!) I will have to see if I can get any of my friends to do try it this evening and if I get anything good, I'll put something up here.

If you can't use a burst mode, it's all about timing. If you're pressing the shutter button when your face is to the side, and you keep catching yourself straight on, try pressing the shutter when your face is straight on

Edit: it also looks like you're holding your mouth open. Try just relaxing your jaw.
