Question White cloth material for maternity shoot

I am doing 2 maternity shoots this coming weekend. I have most if not all of the equipment, however, the ladies are wanting the shots with the draping material, you know the flowing white material. I have a wonderful fabric store just around the block, but would like some advice on the type of material and how much do I need to get those nice flowing shots. Any advice on this as well as some different light diagrams would be great using this material thanks for your advice. By the way each of these ladies are your typical size at 7-8 months of pregnancy.

Thanks in advance

We just did a maternity job that required us getting some "wrap" material which my wife was able to find and purchase. It was an off white color and she tells me it was a lycra type of material, kind of stretchy like bathing suit material. She bought 3 yards and it worked our very well..hope this helps

The fabric I used for that shot is just a pale chiffon-like material. I bought 4 yards of it, I think.
