Stylized Shoot Advice?

So...I've seen a billion stylized shoots out there in the world. One of my fave sites to look at is Style Me Pretty...lots of photographic deliciousness on there! I've been itching to do something like that also but after Googling and searching here and other photog sites, can't find any articles or advice for coordinating with vendors or designing the shoot. I'm just looking for any suggestions with how to approach vendors for such a thing, what sorts of things to look out for, etc. I am amazed that I can't easily find something like this on the internet.

Its hard to find because it's not a set process. It'll change for every vendor, based on things as simply as the seasons. What exactly are you looking to do? "Stylized shoot" is vague to me.

What do you mean by "Stylized" shots or shoots? Are you talking about digital art?

Which is all the rage in some photographic circles right now. OP, please forgive my answering if I am mistaken. In the last paragraph of the link I posted, there is mention of several vendors working together for the shoot featured.
