Hello friends!
I have just been hired on at a portrait studio as a photographer and was hoping for some tips, techniques, tutorials, and helpful links to give my career a jumpstart! I have done freelance work out in the field but never before worked in a commercial studio where families and people come in and you use backdrops, professional lighting, side lights etc. We use a Nikon 3dx which I have also never worked with before but am anxious to become more comfortable with (I have a little fujifilm I got as a decent find at a pawn shop, I can change many settings but no interchangable lense) Anywho, I appreciate any jumpstarts and inspiration as I will be required for quick placement of subjects and myself, creating a story and something that is visually pleasing as well as full of variety. Thank you so much! |
