Engagement Shoot HELP!!!

Hi everyone,

I am in need of some advice. Heres the thing if i decide NOT to do the Engagement Photoshoot that my venue offers which is like 325 (1 ~11x14 2~ 5x7 i could get the whole digital set for 150.) My skills are pretty bad kinda when it comes to doing engagement shoots or just couple shoots. In which i just set up my DSLR & set it to either the wireless remote setting or the bulb setting & then pose him & then just jump in the pic & quickly pose my self just seconds before the camera takes the photo.
so how can i take good looking pic for the engagement photos???
Any good advice??

In this case, I'd opt to spring for what the venue is offering, actually. (Hopefully) it's a photographer that is accustomed to and good at photographing couples, and will give you direction in posing so you'll have flattering pictures.
