Night Club Photography.... Please HELP!

I posted a little while back regarding this, and I am at another bump that I could use anyone's wisdom on...

I've been doing night life photography for the past 6 months; 5 months at one night club and now the past month at another one - Now, my dilemma is technique and a lack of in faith.

Elaborating:
There's only so much it seems one can do in night life photography - only so many angles, shutter speed tecniques, so on... And then it's a matter of keeping it intersting - I'm shooting people dancing, partying, getting drunk in a club with a relatively high ceiling and not many flashy lights (weird, eh), so my tricks lay in my flash and my shutter (I could use more tips on how to make this more interesting first off)... and I'm getting bored, so so bored. It feels like I can't do anything new, like my creative streak is ended and I almost feel like I suck even thought I've been told otherwise and deep down know otherwise. See my issue here?

So #1, any advice on more teniquest I can play with?

and #2, How do you get out of the repetative slump/feeling like maybe you're not as good as you once thought you were? boredom? discouragement? & anything else I've listed above and haven't paraphrased here...

Its monkey work. And why I only ever do it if im hard-up for money.

There really isnt much you can do besides try to get really wacky with it: get something new: fisheye, ultrawide, etc. Try new stuff: f/1.4 with flash for shallow DoF and flash at the same time.

There really isnt much, just try to bear with it (and charge out the ass for it)
