I have four daughters who always want to have their pictures taken and have never had trouble with inspiration. For them, this is a chance to play dress-up, a chance to try on different personae like they try on shoes. I find that a few props, like your daughters guitar, and sometimes an interesting location, and you're off to the races. Can you get into an auditorium somewhere? Or shoot from the top of a parking garage? Early morning in a mall, before they open, can be a great location. It doesn't take a lot of creativity, just a good idea or two and you both will have a lot of fun. Oh, and let her bring a friend to join in on the action. For me, these have been some of the best times I have had with my daughters. I hope you will find the same.

A. Flickr is your friend. Find a photographer that takes great portraits of young people and find ways to fit your daughter into something similar.
B. Think urban. Graffitti walls, Parking garages, brick walls, etc. Also, without telling us what you have kit-wise, it's hard for me to suggest people because if I suggest a photographer that uses flash, and you don't have one or know how to, you'll not be able to do what they do, period. Some great portraitists I follow on flickr: NOTE: Not all are 100% safe for work! why not ask her what types of pictures she likes or is looking at for you to do? it would save you some research time and it might start a conversation on the picture. why she likes it. what you can and can't do to achieve that picture, etc, etc.
another thing you can do is go to the book store and look at the rocker magazines or whatever magazines she's interested in to see what pictures are in there. that could give you some inspiration as well.
