Default Maternity Pics

Just trying to come up with ways to include my kids in my maternity pics. While pregnant with Martin I would "sit" Cassie on my bump and Vanessa would push my Mum tum up like this:

I'm now pregnant with #4 and trying to think of ideas for ways to include all the kiddos. I have through of Vanessa still "lifting" my belly, Martin "sitting" on my tummy and Cassie piggy backing, but that sounds like an awful lot of weight to be carrying since atm Cassie and Martin together weigh at least 60 pounds!

I'm not into the black and whites where you see the skin of the belly and since it would just be dh taking the photos I know the kids won't pose really easily for us! Why do they behave so much better for strangers??? lol Since I want to take several weeks of these and money is tight I would like to do it ourselves... As we have with my last 3 pregnancies

hi, congratulations on your 4th pregnancy!

You could try this..

You sitting on a chair, a dinning room type with no arms.
Eldest child stood on your right side, if shes tall enough, with her arm over your shoulder
yougest child sat on your left knee with hands on bump
and middle child kneeling or half kneeling, below and in front of your eldest child
With all children gatherd around you it will make the Bump the main focus, and they can put their hands on it too. possible the middle child could rest their head on your lap/bump

have a great pregnacy, and lots of fun with the photos!

Congrats on the pregnancy! Wow - 4! I struggle with my 2 most days LOL! I take my hat off to anyone who has anymore than 2 kids hehe!!!!!

I really like the shots that are totally natural & are just the children interacting with mum's belly. I've only done 1 maternity shoot, but this is my favourite shot from it:

Granted, it's only 1 older sibling, but you could do something quite similar......

I also remember seeing someone on here do a maternity shoot where they had dad playing peek-a-boo from behind the bump. The shot showed just the top of his head & his eyes. It looked great & something that would be fun to do with kids!

Not sure how you feel about exposing your belly, but what about a shot of the kids painting on your belly? A friend of mine did this with her son when she was pregnant with his twin sisters & it looked fantastic!!!
