Default Ideas please

I've recently decided to hire a model for an hour, just to see what the experience is like and see how I feel about this. I've never hired one before and am a bit nervous.

I found quite a chatty young lady on a modelling site (modelmayhem.com) who lives in my area and has reasonable rates and is happy to work with a complete novice like myself, her looks are very classic French, almost Parisian.

Like I said, I'm looking for some direction as to what and how to interact with her, what equipment to bring with me etc. We're meeting in a public place, near a cathedral and a museum and I had an idea that we'd spend an hour just taking photos, but now I realise that most of the good photographs of people have a purpose, and I'm struggling to find one.

So I'd like a few ideas as to what kind of thing I should be looking for, props, and maybe a challenge or two, in return I'll post my photos from the session.

Most of my work is mainly fashion work, so I don't know if I can help you much. See if you can't use the surroundings as a wonderful backdrop. Whats the museum like?

I've no idea,.. I've never been in, I guess I should go check it out, it's got some stunning 19th century architecture outside..

My inspiration for photography recently has come from Doisneau and I like candid street photos, the model has a boyfriend who may be willing to participate, so maybe I can do a take on the kissing couple
