hmm, a challenging question! can she do a headstand? or a handstand? if you could snap that- esp the handstand w/ her hair all tumbling down- that might be neat.
like susan's idea- and what a nice shot you posted, susan! and zona's idea, too. funny thing about the sillybands- i'm a child psychologist and i have a prize box- all summer long, nobody chose anything but the sillybands- even 14 and 15 year old boys. crazy! |

Cheat sheets what a great idea. I hate when I have an idea for some poses and forget them. Or maybe a journal of ideas.

silly bandz, huh?
i had NO idea what they were until i came upon this thread and googled it. they remind me of when i was in elementary school, and all the kids hauled around those tubes of POGZ or POGS whatever they were called. i remember them getting banned from schools because people were causing a stink whenever they lost their precious pogs. i like a lot of the ideas in this thread already. what about a sort of "jazz hands" pose with a small DOF to keep just the hands/arms in focus, but not the face? |

What about a shot against bright white background, her arms straight out in front of her face and a lil below, cupping a huge handful of silly bands, with them falling out. Kinda wide angle but close up maybe, fast shutter to freeze the falling ones, shallow DOF so that her hands are in focus fading as it goes up her silly band covered arms. If you really wanna go all out, have an assistant pour some from above so it's raining silly bands. Orrr, if you have something like a treasure chest you could fill it up with them, secure a flash under the lid, and get a shot of her opening it with a look of awe and the flash creating a glow on the bands and her face. Not sure if that would work, but it'd be pretty cool if it did.
