Default Need help with my beginner studio lighting

I recently purchased a cheap lighting kit on eBay that included 3 35watt cfl bulbs and 3 32" white umbrellas, and they aren't nearly bright enough to have a fast enough shutter speed for the portraits I'm taking. I could use some suggestions as to what kind of bulbs I should use instead. I have a canon powershot s5is for now and it is really noisey at higher than 200 ISO and I need faster shutter speeds. Right now I have to boost iso to 400 and my shutter speed has to be around 1/30 for correct exsposure. I wanna get it up to at least 1/125. Any help?

As long as they are just contant on lights, go to home depot or wherever and buy the highest wattage CFL's you can find... Are they 35 watt "equivalent" or actually 35 watt bulbs? In fluorescent continuous light 35 watt bulbs are fairly high. You'll probably have a very hard time finding anything above 50.
