This thread is a lot of help to me, I've been taking regular portraits for a year and want to start doing some boudoir portraits, thanks to everyone who posted.

I have seen a few like that too, I don't understand why people show their bare feet in boudoir photos, bare feet are such a turn off and can be easily hidden with a sexy pair of heels.

Why not? Feet are very sensual and create an intimate feeling in a boudoir photograph.

I'm not understanding all the feet-hate in this thread, I don't have a foot fetish, but bare feet look great in a boudoir photograph, they're soft and sensual and add length to the leg.

Absolutely, seriously OP, bare feet look great in boudoir pics. When I'm doing boudoir pics, I always advise clients to go barefoot for some pics and they(and their partners) are usually happy with the results.

Depends upon the feet in question. Nice shape and slim, good to go. Otherwise hide them. Look at the book store for Vargas books. Lots of great posing ideas as well as wardrobe. He worked from photographs most of the time. Jim

Indeed, boudoir is all about accentuating the positives and eliminating the negatives. If someone has good feet though, it would be a shame to cover them. Here's a nice guide on photographing feet in boudoir photoshoots.
