Default Self-timer on the Nikon D-90

I just bought the Nikon D-90 and when I am using the self-timer mode without using the flash, it only takes one picture. How can I get it in burst mode?

You cant use the timer in burst mode. The two are mutually exclusive. Why would you want to?

That's like saying you want to drive fast, but you also want to be stopping to smell the roses every 50 feet. It doesnt work.

cant do "burst mode"

some cameras have an "interval" mode where it takes an image every "X" seconds for "y" duration of time.. i dont think the D90 does that though.

i'm assuming you want to do several group photos with yourself in it?
the best you could do is buy a remote and press the button on the remote every time you wanted to take a shot.
