Default 7 Days

For a while now I have belonged to the 7 Days group on Flickr. It asks contributors to submit a daily self-portrait for certain weeks of the year, giving the intense experience of a 365 project but without the guilt when life gets on top of you and you start dropping pictures after a month or so

The next run starts on 8 March and I'm looking forward to it (I couldn't manage the previous one as it clashed with my holiday plans over Christmas). I thought I would give you all a bit of notice in case anyone else fancies giving this a try.

Wulf

ps. if you do sign up, make sure you read the rules about the required tags, etc and also watch out for the themed days.

Sounds like a good group to join for anyone thinking of trying self-portraits.

For those of you that haven't tried doing self-portraits, you might want to give it a go. You will be amazed at what you learn about lighting, focusing and pushing yourself to be creative. And no, we are not are narcissists.

Steena, don't give up! You're almost half done and think of the accomplishment of finishing!

Thanks for the info Wulf,
I joined 365 and think I took three or four pictures, life just got in the way.
Maybe starting with just seven days in a row would be good...

as Im sure you are well aware wulf I am not even capable of one a week so I wont be partaking but seems like a better idea for those whose schedules tend to get a bit hectic.
A week of inconvenience is a bit easier to swallow than a year.
