Default Posing question (wedding)

Hi all,

I'm shooting a wedding, and I've been informed that the entire bridal party are just about the same height except for ONE bridesmaid who is really tall.

Most of the bridal party is about 5'2 - 5'4 or so, except the one really tall bridesmaid who is somewhere around 6' tall.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to pose the bridal party when doing the group shots? I don't think the standard "in a line" would work out so well

Thanks

Shoot down on them or shoot up at them. Get away from the traditional "let's line everyone up" pose. Let their personalities come out and do some fun off the wall poses.

Shooting down at them will get rid of the odd height difference. Shooting up at them while all of them are looking down at you will do the same.

Fun and/or off the wall poses can get rid of the height differences or play up to it. Maybe the tall bride's maid holding the shorter ones at bay by putting her hand on their forehead and she's holding the bouquet? Maybe all of them trying to take pics of the bride while she's getting ready and the tall one is holding them back so the bride isn't being bothered?

I'd have fun with it. Don't let it stress you out.
