Need help post-processing my portrait :-(

Hi everyone. I had gotten this news from my magazine editor on short notice. She wanted everyone to send in a picture of themselves so that she can write something to the sponsor. I just took a picture of myself (first time doing portrait) and I need some help. I've put the picture on photoshop and cut myself out from the background. I'm wondering if someone can take this image of me and put in a nice backdrop? As mentioned earlier, I've cut the part of the picture of myself out so you just need to put a layer under it with a nice background and just make the picture look as if it was one.
I will send the .psd through email if anyone is interested.

I don't understand...you've done the hard part (getting a good selection). Cut it to a new layer, delete the background layer Add a new layer under your cut out, flatten it, save it as .jpg, email it and you're done.

I agree with Bruce that you have already done the hard part and are more than halffway to finishing the job. However, if you need help I think I can do what you are asking. Send me a PM and I'll tell you where to send the psd file.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I just looked at my .psd file and put in about 2 or 3 more minutes of work into it to fix it. I just went to Filter>Render>Cloud and used light blue and white as the colors and it made one of those traditional portrait backdrops.
