First, get the girls together
Then take them to a portrait studio
They should have cameras there.

what equipment DO you have? That might help us offer a proper solution. Natural light will be your friend...

An 18 months old and a newborn can be challenging, but don't get discouraged! You don't have to have studio equipment to get some nice shots. You do have to have lots of patience however. If their mom asked you to do it she is basing her request on something!!!

That being said, look at what equipment you do have and as Private said you would probably want to take advantage of natural light (get close to a window if inside).

You might already be aware of these but here are some tips:
- use burst mode if camera allows you
- use the fastest lens you have and the highest ISO you can without getting too much noise. You need them with an 18 months old..
- with an 'on the move toddler' old it can be challenging (almost impossible) to use Manual settings. Use shutter speed setting. You will want a pretty high shutter speed especially if you don't have good light.
- shoot RAW. It can help you later
- mom should be at hands reach at all times!
-Talk to the older one constantly and ask him/her about the baby. Make him/her curious to get close to the baby. Ask him silly questions about the baby, etc
- find out from mom about what the older one likes about the baby and use it!
- schedule the shooting time at a time when mom knows the toddler has his/her best moments (most toddlers love mornings, but you never know)
- baby should be fed and comfy. Sleeping works wonders!
- pretty basic but... set up a blanket/sheet as your background. You don't want all the toys and diapers in the photo. See link below

Check out this Flickr thread for posing ideas.

Hope this helps a bit. And just so people can help you exactly where you need it, try being a bit more specific in your questions.
Good luck!!
